PaymentNet Specifications

PaymentNet is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week except during scheduled maintenance. Maintenance occurs each week from 8 p.m. ET Saturday through 1 a.m. ET Sunday.

To optimize system performance and provide a high level of security, PaymentNet requires adherence to specific setup protocols and security standards. The table below outlines the requirements to use the full functionality available in PaymentNet. If you have questions about your computer’s settings, your organization’s technology support department may be able to assist you.

Browser Requirements

Configure your Internet browser as follows:

  • Enable JavaScript.

  • Allow cookies.

  • Turn off pop-up blocking in your browser and in any other security software on your computer.

  • Support AES 128-bit encryption security.

  • Support EV SSL (Extended Validation SSL) certificates.

Additional Software

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader® 4.0 or higher. Reader is available for free on the Adobe website.

  • Any file decompression software (for example, WinZip®)

  • Microsoft Excel® 2003 or later is required to view and download reports.

512 Mb RAM (minimum), 1 GB RAM (recommended)

300 Mb available free space after installation of operating system and browser (minimum), 500 Mb (recommended)

PaymentNet works best over broadband connections; dial-up connections are not recommended for performance reasons.
