Deleting a Custom User Role

You can delete a custom role only if there are no users assigned to it. System roles cannot be deleted.

Users with the Program Administrator system role cannot delete custom roles. If you want to allow program administrators to delete custom roles, you must create a custom Program Administrator role and enable the Role Setup Delete function, then assign this custom role as needed.

To delete a custom user role:

  1. Select Administration > Role Setup.

  2. Click the name of the custom role to be deleted.

  3. Click Delete Role.
