Use the Split Transactions monitor type if you want to flag transactions whereby a cardholder breaks up a purchase into multiple transactions in order to circumvent the account’s single transaction limit. It can also be used to flag instances of multiple transactions at the same merchant on the same day.
To configure compliance monitoring for split transactions:
Select Administration > Hierarchy > Settings > Compliance Monitoring.
Enter the hierarchy ID in the Hierarchy ID field, or click the link and select a node from the hierarchy tree.
Select Override inheritance and click Save.
Note:The Override inheritance check box overrides the settings from the parent hierarchy ID, which is listed in the Inherited from field. This allows you to configure the Compliance Monitoring settings differently for the selected hierarchy ID. If this check box is not selected, you will not be able to make any changes on this screen, and the selected hierarchy ID will retain the settings of the parent node.
For the Split Transactions monitor type, click Add.
In the Monitor Name field, enter a unique name to identify the monitor.
Click Save.
