Transaction custom fields are values that will be defaulted or added to any transactions that match this payable; they are typically intended for internal buyer use.
Payable custom fields are values that will be associated with the payable itself; they are intended for external use with vendors. These values will not be defaulted or added to any transactions.
To modify the values of custom fields:
Click the Payable ID on the Payable List screen.
Click the Custom Fields tab on the Payable Details screen.
Click Edit and make your changes to the custom field values as desired.
Depending on how a custom field is defined, you may need to select a value from a drop-down list, enter a value in a text box, or select a check box. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Click Save Changes.
