This screen displays if you log in from an unregistered computer. For example, if you log in from a new computer, you will be directed through a quick process to verify your identity, and you will have the option to register your computer to your User ID.
For security purposes, your User ID must be registered to each computer you use when logging in, or you must enter an access code. Other events may also require you to register your computer, including:
Using a different Internet browser. For example, you might have two different browsers on your computer, and your first login used a different browser.
Clearing the browser cookies, cache, or temporary files. Follow your browser's Help instructions on temporary files and cookies to ensure that computer registration cookies are retained.
Software or hardware profile changes. If your computer has a new hard drive since your last login, your computer may not be registered to your User ID.
Access codes are sent to the email address in your profile. If you have trouble getting an access code, contact J.P. Morgan Customer Service by calling the number on the back of your card. If you do not have your card, see Customer Service.
To get an access code:
Click Get Access Code. If you already have an access code, click I have an access code.
Wait a few minutes and check the email address associated with your profile to get your access code. If you do not receive an access code, click Get Another Access Code or contact J.P. Morgan Customer Service by calling the number on the back of your card. If you do not have your card, see Customer Service.
When you have received the access code, enter it in the Access Code field.
Enter your password in the Password field.
If you are using a private computer, select Register my computer. If you are using a public computer, select Do not register my computer.
Click Next. A confirmation message displays indicating that your access code is verified.
