Reactivating a Suspended Account

You can reactivate an account that you previously suspended. For example, if you suspended an account while you were on a leave of absence, you can reactivate it when you return. If your program administrator has enabled this option, you can reactivate your account from the My Account Detail screen.

Note:    If a program administrator has placed a suspension on your card, you cannot use this function to override it.

Make sure that the card is in your possession before you reactivate the account because you will not receive a replacement card. If the card is lost and you need a replacement card, see Replacing a Lost Card.

To reactivate a suspended account:

  1. Click the My Accounts item on the PaymentNet menu bar.

  2. In the Account Number column, click the account number you want to reactivate.

  3. In the I’d Like To... list, click Unsuspend this account.

  4. If there are recent transactions against your account, PaymentNet displays the Review Transactions screen.

If you recognize all of the transactions on this screen, select Yes and click Next. Continue with step 5.

If you do not recognize one or more of the transactions, select No and click Next. Call the customer service phone number shown on the screen.

  5. Review the confirmation message and then click Unsuspend Account. Your account will be reactivated immediately. Your card is now ready to be used again.
