Reviewing Transactions

Once transactions post to PaymentNet, users can begin the review and approval process. Users assigned the Card Holder role complete reviews, and users assigned the Transaction Approver role submit approvals.

If you are assigned a Card Holder role, you can review transactions within your hierarchy ID and scope of view. For example, you might reconcile each transaction amount with a receipt or statement and then mark the transactions as Reviewed.

To review multiple transactions at the same time, all the selected transactions must be in a hierarchy to which you have a scope of view; otherwise, the Review button will be unavailable.

Note:    You can select up to 100 transactions at a time to review; however, the total number of records you can select depends on the number of records displayed. By editing your profile, you can choose to display 20, 50, or 100 records per page. To change the number of records that display, see Customizing Your Screen View.

Youcan view a list of transactions that need to be reviewed by clicking the View link in the Transaction Activity panel of the Cardholder Dashboard.

To review a single transaction:

  1. Select Transactions > Manage.

  2. Click the transaction you want to review.

  3. Review the transaction and make any necessary changes.

  4. Select the Review check box.

  5. Click Save. PaymentNet marks the transaction as Reviewed and, if applicable, forwards it to the appropriate approver.

To review multiple transactions:

  1. Select Transactions > Manage.

  2. Select the transactions you want to review.

  3. Click Review. PaymentNet marks the transactions as Reviewed and, if applicable, forwards them to the appropriate reviewer.
