Sharing Mappers

If your organization’s card program is managed by multiple program administrators, it may be helpful for certain program administrators to have the ability to view, download, and edit mappers created by other PaymentNet users. For example, this would allow program administrators to serve as a backup for one another.

The scope-of-view settings assigned to each program administrator determine the mapper sharing options. In order for a program administrator to serve as a backup, they must have a scope of view that includes the entire organization. These settings include:

Program administrators who do not have a scope of view over the entire organization (that is, those who do not meet the requirements above) can only run mappers that are saved to hierarchies within their scope of view. In addition, these program administrators can only download and mark mappers they run as Successful or Unsuccessful.

Once a mapper is locked, other users do not have access to edit or run the mapper. To unlock a mapper, the user who locked it must change the status to Successful or Unsuccessful.
