Using the Query feature in the Payables module, you can search for payables in the following ways:
Quick Searches allow you to perform a search using a single field, such as the Payable Amount or the Vendor Name. Quick Searches are typically limited to payables created in the past 30 days.
Standard Queries are defined by J.P. Morgan and allow you to search for payables using predefined criteria; for example, you can use a Standard Query to search for payables created in the past 7 days.
Advanced Queries allow you to design your own queries and specify a more complex set of criteria, such as a date range and an account number within a given hierarchy.
Custom Queries are Advanced Queries that you have saved so you can easily repeat your search at any time.
After you perform a search, the results display on the Payable List screen. To restore the original display, click Clear Filters.
When viewing the search results, you can click a Payable ID to display the payable details and launch the Workflow Manager. The Workflow Manager lets you click through the search results one at a time and make changes to each payable as needed. Click Go to Next Payable or Go to Previous Payable to move forward or backward through the search results. To close the Workflow Manager, click Exit Workflow.
Note: Quick Searches to help you locate specific vendors are available on the Vendor List screen. For more information, see Searching for Vendors.
