PaymentNet includes a QuickBooks report template that allows you to export PaymentNet transaction data in a format that can be uploaded to your QuickBooks® accounting system. This template produces an output file in .qbo format as required for uploading data into QuickBooks; it does not produce a report suitable for viewing.
To view and work with this template, your role must be given access to it on the Report Setup screen.
As with other report templates provided by J.P. Morgan, you must create your own report by saving the template with a unique name so that your report is available in your Report List. In order to ensure that your report output meets the QuickBooks requirements, the included columns and sort order are specified in the template and cannot be changed. You can only change the filter criteria, set up a schedule for running the report, share the report with other users, and enable the report for Quick Run.
To export your data in QuickBooks format:
Select Reports > Report List.
Find the QuickBooks Template in the Report List. You can do a keyword search on the template name or use the Report Category or Output Format filter to find it quickly.
Click the link in the Report Information column to view details.
Enter a unique name, up to 100 characters long, for your report. Forward (/) slashes, back (\) slashes, and non-ASCII characters are not allowed.
Modify the report settings as needed.
To change the filter criteria, click the Filter Rows tab and update the filter expressions, add new filters, or remove filters. See Filter the report data.
If you want to be able to run the report from the Report List, click the Output Options tab and select Enable for Quick Run.
To schedule the report to run on a future date or on a recurring basis, click the Scheduling tab and set up the schedule. See Schedule the report.
To share the report with other roles, click the Output Options tab and select the roles that will have access to the report. Users with these roles will see the report in their Report List.
Click Save to save your changes. Your QuickBooks report will be added to your Report List.
You can run the report as you do any other report in PaymentNet. When the report has run successfully, you can download the output from the Available Downloads screen and upload it into QuickBooks.
