This help system provides detailed information about the steps required to log in to your account under various circumstances. These steps are also summarized in the Log In Quick Reference Card. In addition, you can click Help with this page on any screen for specific information that's relevant to what you're doing.
Your organization settings and your user access role determine when you are required to change your password. The system prompts you to change your password when it expires and you cannot log in until the password is changed.
The Log In help explains the following:
Navigating the Log In Screen — The Log In screen displays each time you access the PaymentNet website. From this screen, you can log in to your J.P. Morgan Commercial Card account, review the available resources, and read important messages from J.P. Morgan.
First Time Log In — The first time you log in, you will enter your User ID and a temporary password that you received by email or from your program administrator. You will then be directed through a quick process to create a new password, answer security questions, and register your computer.
Online Account Registration — If you have your card but do not have your login credentials, you can use this feature to register your account online.
Forgot Your Password? — If you cannot remember your password, you can request a temporary password so that you can log in.
Forgot Your Organization ID or User ID? — If you cannot remember your User ID, you can request to have this information emailed to you. If you are prompted to enter your Organization ID but cannot remember it, you can also request this information.
Change Password — If you enter a temporary password, an expired password, or a password that is expiring soon, you will be given the opportunity to change it.
Register Computer — If you log in from an unregistered computer, you will be directed to register your ID to the computer you are using. This helps prevent access by unauthorized users. If you choose not to register your computer, you will need to request an access code every time you log in.
Log Out — When you are finished working with PaymentNet, you should securely end your session by logging out.
Security Best Practices — J.P. Morgan takes steps to ensure the security of its products and safeguard your business information. There are also steps you should take if you believe your PaymentNet login information has been compromised.
